About PawPicksLab
We're a small team that would rather wear out a product than read its marketing page.
PawPicksLab started in a house with too many dogs and one very particular cat. We kept buying gear that looked great online and fell apart in a month, and we got tired of review sites that seemed to love everything equally. So we started writing down what actually held up — and what didn't.
Every guide here is built the same way: we buy or borrow the products, use them for weeks in real homes with real animals, and report the weak points alongside the wins. If a bed flattens, a toy cracks, or a litter box smells, we say so. A review that's all positives isn't a review — it's an ad.
What we believe
- Cons are as important as pros. The one dealbreaker is often the most useful sentence in a review.
- Testing beats specs.A spec sheet can't tell you how a zipper holds up after twenty washes.
- Independence matters. We earn commissions through affiliate links, but no brand pays for a placement or a score.
Curious how the testing actually works? Read how we test, or see our editorial policy.
